The Oromo and Oromo community in Belgium (OOCB) is self-help association founded in 1994 by the few who came over various times to Begium for many reasons,some escaping from persecution ,some for higher education and some through marriage. The Oromo have spread across Belgium. However, the majority of the Oromo live in Antwerp. and OOCB office is currently based at: floris de cuyperstraat 31 bus 3 2640 Mortsel antwerp Belgium Email address: waarii@yahoo.com The OOCB is the only community of its kind founded for the well being of the Oromo people in this country. OOCB is a registered charity branch ORAB governed by constitution and run by a management committee elected every two years general meeting.
